The platform share is deducted when payment settles. The beneficiary remainder is credited to their wallet. Known processor charges and taxes are recorded separately rather than disguised as commission.

The applicable split is permanently recorded when a successful payment is settled. A later policy change does not rewrite completed transactions.

MucXic Partnership Programme pilot
Eligible, reviewed artists may earn an indicative UGX 2.00 for each qualified stream. The entire programme is limited to UGX 1000000.00 per month, with a UGX 300000.00 monthly cap per artist. If calculated valid earnings exceed the fund, every statement is reduced proportionally.
A qualified stream requires at least 30 seconds from a genuine listener and remains pending for 30 days. Self-streams, anonymous plays, automated traffic, excessive repetition and manipulated activity earn nothing and may be reversed. Approved balances carry forward until the UGX 50000.00 payout threshold is reached.
Random MucXic drops are platform promotion and currently generate no payable advertising revenue. When paid advertisements launch, the intended split is 55% of net attributable advertising revenue to the artist/rightsholder and 45% to MucXic. Net revenue means collected advertiser funds after taxes, refunds, processing costs and direct sales commissions.
Creator campaigns
The artist funds the complete creator reward budget. MucXic's 12% service fee is added on top, ensuring creators receive the advertised per-video reward in full.
Beneficiary accounting
Artist and creator balances remain amounts payable to beneficiaries until payout. Frozen campaign rewards remain escrow liabilities and are not MucXic revenue.
Refunds and changes
Refunds and reversals must reverse their original allocations. Completed settlements retain the percentage in effect when recorded. Material future changes will be published here.
