  • Keep payment phone numbers accurate so transaction messages and download access can be delivered.
  • Use the currency selector in the menu or footer to change how supported prices are displayed.
share

Sharing music

  • Use the share button on song pages or in the player to copy/share the public song link.
  • Song links include social preview information so supported apps can show the song title, artist, and cover image.
  • If a shared preview looks old, the receiving app may be caching it. Try sharing again after the page has been updated online.
notifications

Notifications

  • Use the bell icon to see new music, playlist, campaign, and platform updates.
  • Open the notifications page to review older updates or mark everything as read.

Common questions

Why can I upload music but not publish it? expand_more

Artist uploads may require email, phone, NIN verification, and admin review before the song becomes live.

Why did my paid download not start immediately? expand_more

Some payments require gateway confirmation. If payment succeeds, return to the song or use the tracking code you received.

Why does the wallet ask for my password again? expand_more

Wallet information is sensitive, so MucXic asks for a fresh password confirmation before showing it, even when you are already logged in.

How do I search only songs, artists, accounts, or playlists? expand_more

Use the filter dropdown beside the global search field, or switch tabs in the search results panel after searching.

Can listeners follow artists? expand_more

Yes. Following an artist helps listeners receive updates about new live music and public playlist activity.

Can I make an album or download free? expand_more

Yes. A price of 0.00 means the album or enabled download is free. Negative prices are not allowed.

Where do artists see promotion delivery files? expand_more

Open My campaigns, expand the campaign, then use the activity file viewer to inspect feedback images, videos, and links.

Why does a shared song preview not show the newest cover immediately? expand_more

MucXic sends the song cover in the page preview metadata, but social apps can cache old previews. Try again after the latest version has deployed.

How do I report a copyright problem? expand_more

Open the song detail page and submit a copyright report with your contact details and proof of ownership.
